Episode Review: Gen V 1x4 - "The Whole Truth"

Welcome back to the blog readers. It may have taken an episode or two for Gen V (2023-) to pick up steam, but this is a show that was always going to live in the shadow of its parent series The Boys (2019-26). I am so glad that this series has stayed true to the spirit of The Boys while creating its own identity so far through three episodes. With five episodes left (including this one) of the first season, I am hopeful it can carve out its own place. Would this episode, titled "The Whole Truth," written by Jessica Chou, and directed by Steve Boyum, be able to keep the momentum going? Stick around to find out.
