Season Review: Gen V Season 1

Welcome back to the blog readers. As you guys have gotten to see for the last year and a half, I have fallen head over heels in love with the series The Boys (2019-26). Ever since I got to see Billy Butcher, Hughie Campbell, Annie January, Homelander, etc., I have been so intrigued about the world that Eric Kripke and friends have delivered for us. I know I was very late to the game, and I definitely regret it because I will not be caught up by the time everybody else watches the series finale this May. Knowing that starting this spinoff was the next step in the Boys universe left me with a bit of hesitation because I was going to be leaving my characters for an unspecified amount of time. Would the necessary detour be worth it, however? Stick around to find out.
